Diving Academy Lembongan offers a relaxed diving environment and one

Instructors and Divemasters includes some of Indonesia’s most
highly trained and experienced dive professionals. Bali Diving Academy

Lembongan’s crystal clear waters and thriving coral reef play host to one of Bali’s most prolific and diverse marine communities Cool, oxygen rich ocean currents attract seasonal migrations of Manta Rays and the rare Mola Mola, which make for unexpected surprises on exciting drift dives along beautiful reef slopes. Early morning departures to Manta Point and carefully timed drops on the Mola Mola cleaning stations are a seasonal highlight.
There are in excess of fifteen dive sites here. While we can offer a terrific variety of diving for all levels of participation, some sites are suitable only for experienced divers. Our high speed purpose built dive vessels make multiple departures daily, allowing us to cater to a broad range of diver needs with ease.
Lembongan also offers spectacular reef diving with dive sites featuring everything from steep slopes with overhangs and outcroppings , soft slopes covered with critters galore, to colourful walls covered in shrimps and crabs hiding in the crevices. Pair this with Big marble rays, reef sharks, schools of snappers and jacks and you have one unforgettable dive adventure.

Operating daily in Lembongan / Penida since 1991 as Bali Hai Diving Adventures, the team pioneered Manta Point, the Mola Mola interaction and the live boat drift dive experiences, for which the region is now world renowned.
The only company to date to engage in ongoing Mola Mola monitoring along with satellite tagging, their understanding of the behavioural patterns of the huge fish now made famous is unsurpassed.
Bali Diving Academy Lembongan recognises their responsibility to protect Lembongan / Penida region’s unique marine environment. Bali Diving Academy has developed a Code of Conduct which outlines the environmentally responsible way to approach and interact with sunfish. The code was designed specifically for interactions with sunfish and was established in consultation with leading sunfish experts, scientific researchers, experienced local marine managers, industry representatives and dive guides operating in the area for over 15 years. These guidelines are designed to provide a satisfying and safe diving experience while insuring the lowest sustainable impact on the sunfish population of Bali.
This code includes general information about the biology of the sunfish, the history of sunfish interactions at Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida and guidelines for safe diver and boating behaviour.
By voluntarily adopting this set of guidelines, it is hoped that local dive operators and divers can lessen the tourist pressures on sunfish and allow these fish to resume their natural cleaning station behavior and previous high numbers. The quality of interaction, diver safety and hence the value and sustainability of this unique diver experience can also be maintained and ideally improved as the sunfish will be less likely to be frightened away.
Voluntary Codes of Conduct have proven vital in managing diver impacts on marine life and habitats in other popular dive destinations.
