Tulamben holds some of the most underrated divesites in Asia, however with photographers now in the know, this beauty is quickly becoming one of Asia’s top dive destinations.
Bali Diving Academy Tulamben has been offering dives on the world famous Liberty Wreck and surrounding reefs, since 1991. Within a few fin kicks from shore you can be surrounded by the resident school of jacks that will envelop you, while drifting along the covered walls of this beautiful 120m wreck.
Alternatively enjoy a calm inspection of one of the area’s vibrant coral reefs and see just how varied the marine life on Bali can be. Macro enthusiasts will love Seraya Secrets and Noisy Reef, where an unusual array of marine life can be found at any time of day. Macro subjects here are limitless and dive boats provide access to all of East Bali’s dive sites. Your regulators will surely be put to the test on this dive trip as dive spots are so easily accessible you will never want to come out of the water.

There are in excess of sixteen dive sites here. While we can offer a terrific variety of diving for all levels of participation, some sites are suitable only for experienced divers. The high speed purpose built dive vessels make multiple departures daily, allowing BDA to cater to a broad range of diver needs with ease.

Tulamben is a small town on the north east coast of Bali. The area is dominated by the inescapable presence of stunning Mount Agung. BDA Tulamben is located beach front, just a few kilometres South of Tulamben in the shadow of Mount Agung. Seraya Secrets and Noisy Reef, made famous by the team of professional Divemasters and spotters here, are just a few steps from the shop front.

Bali Diving Academy Tulamben recognises their responsibility to protect the Tulamben region’s unique marine environment. The team were responsible for establishing the community retribution system which currently protects the Tukad Abu and Seraya Secrets’ dive sites. They also play an active role in vocational training programs, scientific studies, and environmental audits.
BDA Tulamben also maintain ongoing liaison to ensure protection and management of the region. Invest in the future by choosing to dive with a company committed to both community and environment. Contributions to the Tukad Abu Eco Fund are welcomed by the community.
BDA are the recipients of numerous awards. Environment and minimum impact initiatives include a reef monitoring program, underwater naturalist trail, investment in waste water treatment and desalination, community initiatives and recycling programs.
