The
DivingAll PADI courses are offered here from Discover Scuba Diving to Divemaster & Instructor. Rainbow Divers adhere to the highest safety standards (a maximum 4 students to 1 Instructor) and Courses start every day.
Famous for its white sand, clear blue waters and wild bird’s nests, the 160 square-kilometer Hon Mun Marine Protected Area, the first of its kind in Vietnam, is also a paradise for divers. Underneath the sea there are more than 300 species of coral, 196 species of reef fish, seven species of sea grass, 300 algal species, 112 species of mollusks, as well as several species of star fish, sea urchins and sea cucumbers. Rare marine turtles such as Eretmochelys imbricata and Chelonia mydas are also found in the area. Surprisingly, there are no wrecks to dive as the locals have salvaged everything above 50 metres. However, there are a few "wreckages" south of Nha Trang, but Rainbow divers continue to check out new dive sites, ever hopeful of discovering the "pristine wreck".

Rainbow Divers have dive centers in every major dive location in Vietnam. The REEFsponsibles have worked closely with Rainbow Divers on a turtle sanctuary program at their Borneo location in recent years, and have had chance first hand to see the work they do. We are excited to be working with them again here in Vietnam and believe we can help to shape the sustainable future of Vietnam’s tourism and dive industry.
National
Geographic Dive Center
Who are National Geographic Divers?
Quite simply they are divers who have an interest in scuba diving
and the underwater world that goes beyond that of an average diver.
In addition to their increased knowledge which they obtain from the
course, they have enhanced their skills & completed underwater
tasks which broaden their awareness and understanding while scuba
diving.
How & Where?
There are two ways that individuals can become National Geographic
Divers. At Rainbow Divers, the only PADI National Geographic dive
centre in Vietnam, people who do not already have a diver certification
may enrol in the program which covers all the skills from the PADI
Open Water Course and adds additional skills & adventures for
the National Geographic certification.
Divers who already hold a diver certification may enrol in the National
Geographic Portal program. During this program divers will gain additional
skills & knowledge by studying with National Geographic materials
under the direct supervision of their Instructor.
Programs like these are here to create ambassadors for the underwater world, and are having great success.
Local
Favourable Employment
Rainbow Divers are doing their bit to provide local employees with what we refer to as favourable conditions, providing them with benefits afforded to people working in the modern world, the most basic being health insurance. They employ a large number of people to work every aspect of the business, and always encourage education to further workers skill sets.
Think local. Act local.
Rainbow Divers do their part whenever possible to make good decisions
in favour of the environment. The latest technologies of energy saving
products are employed in all their shops. They have a commitment to
supporting the local community by buying local, and recycle all plastic
and other materials wherever possible.
